UNR TRIO Upward Bound
Program Type: K-12 High School
Upward Bound is a FREE college preparatory program designed to help qualifying students graduate from high school, gain entrance to and successfully graduate from college. Upward Bound provides college readiness for motivated, income qualified and first- generation college bound high school students through the development of skills and knowledge essential for successful admission, persistence, and completion of post-secondary education.

Qualification 1
From an income qualified family; and/or
Qualification 2
From a family where neither parent with whom student resides has a 4-year College degree; and
Qualification 3
U.S. citizen, naturalized, or permanent resident of the U.S.; and
Additional Qualifications
Between ages 14 and 18 of age;and

Attending a target high school in Washoe or Lyon Counties in Nevada (see list)
