Nevada Agricultural Education & FFA

School-based agricultural education (SBAE) is an essential educational program delivered through career and technical education in Nevada for students desiring to learn about the science, business, and technology of plant and animal production and/or about the environmental and natural resources systems. Consists of three principle components: contextual, inquiry-based instruction; premiere leadership, personal growth and career success through engagement in FFA; and experiential, service and/or work-based learning through supervised agricultural experience programs.

Western Nevada College Tech Prep Program

Career and Technical Education provides a wide range of programs designed to get students into the work force immediately upon completion. The programs are designed to give students hands-on and academic experience, which translates into real-world skills.

Western Nevada College Bridge to Success Program

The department of student outreach promotes WNC and personalizes the college to prospective students, their families and the community. The department of student outreach supports college goals through increasing visibility, awareness of WNC and promotes high school-to-college success.
