School-based agricultural education (SBAE) is an essential educational program delivered through career and technical education in Nevada for students desiring to learn about the science, business, and technology of plant and animal production and/or about the environmental and natural resources systems. Consists of three principle components: contextual, inquiry-based instruction; premiere leadership, personal growth and career success through engagement in FFA; and experiential, service and/or work-based learning through supervised agricultural experience programs.
